Preschool, Kindergarten/One, Grades Two through Five Classes
Live B.I.G. helps children see, hear, and live their Belief In God. Short video segments are used to bring faith-filled, high-energy excitement to children. Characters model B.I.G. behavior, travel segments feature B.I.G. ministries by everyday B.I.G. people, there is cool music for kids’ ears and more! For more information about this curriculum see http://www.ilivebig.com/.
Little Shepherd's Church We provide for children 4 years old through 3rd grade the opportunity to experience church at their own level every Sunday. Children are dismissed from worship following the Children's Moment and have their own service under the guidance of an experienced volunteer staff.
The group rejoins the regular worship service at its conclusion to share in the singing of "Bind Us Together", except on Communion Sundays when parents need to pick up their children from the green room. Following the conclusion of the song, the children are reunited with their parents for the fellowship period held immediately after worship.
Middle School Class
This class is using “Tweens in Transition." The units this quarter are: The Birth of Jesus, Jesus Ministry Begins and Jesus' Teachings on Justice. Ellen Furlow is the teacher of this class.
High School Class This class is using a series called “Theologically Thinking”. The goal of the four studies is to teach senior highs how to apply biblical principles to real-world situations. We’ll begin in September with the first study, “Thinking Theologically about Haves and Have-Nots”. This study invites the high schoolers to examine the gap between those who have resources, power and privilege and those who do not. The teacher is Cathy Stewart. Kelly Martin will be the second adult with the class and will occasionally teach.
Adult Sunday School Classes
Bible Class
The Bible Class is studying the minor prophets using Interpretation which covers Hosea through Micah, written by James Limburg. Rob Johnson is the teacher.
New Hope Class
The New Hope Class will be starting a new study based on the book by James W. Moore entitled "Faith Is the Answer, But What Are the Questions?" How does faith help us when problems arise? How does the Christian faith strengthen us when suffering or tragedy or heartache explodes into our lives? Did Jesus really mean for us to love everybody? Faith is the answer, of course, but still ....what are the questions? And how do we respond to them honestly, creatively, and redemptively? These, and other questions, we will deal with in this book.
The Various Topics for Seekers Class

This concise book is an engaging and insightful resource for any United Methodist youth, parent, or educator seeking to better understand their unique brand of Christianity in light of the understandings of those from the evangelical tradition.” Come join us for class.
