The Good Seed Community Garden is an effort put forth by both our church and the community members of Sharon Woods to unify and celebrate our neighborhood. The garden is comprised of several garden plots that community members can rent out. The plots are for private use. Neighbors pay a small fee to utilize the space. We encourage our gardeners to donate extra produce to W.A.R.M and other food pantries in the area. Please see the FAQs below for info about W.A.R.M,

How much are each of the Plots?
Each of the Plots are $10 for the growing season
How can I rent a plot?
Stop by the church office Monday- Thursday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. to complete your application and reserve your plot. If you would like an application emailed to you, contact Susie Lehnerd ([email protected]) or Pat Wood, ([email protected])
How many Plots may I rent?
There is no limit on the number of pots you can sign up for. Please keep in mind how much work you are willing to put in every week.
How big are the plots?
The plots are 16 x 4
How do I get water for My Garden?
There are two large, black, rain barrels on the Beechcroft side of the church. There is a hose that you can fill containers to water your garden. Please make sure the valve is turned off when finished.
What if i have extra Produce?
We recommend you take extra produce to W.A.R.M
What is W.A.R.M?
W.A.R.M (Westerville Area Resource Ministry) is a local food pantry. It is located at 150 Heatherdown Dr. Westerville, Oh Phone 614-899-0196. For more information visit their websites at http://www.warmwesterville.org/

Should I be concerned about my safety?
There are some precautions you should consider when working in the garden
- Work during Daylight hours
- Take your cell phone with you
- Be aware of your surroundings
- Know when to call 911 or the CPD non emergency number 614-645-4545
- Please keep Pat and Susie aware of all safety concerns
